Courses: An Introduction

Through my DigitalChalk online classroom, I offer seven levels of ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) classes designed to give comprehensive American English language instruction.

There are four semesters consisting of 13 weeks of class. Each class will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. If you are unable to attend the class, it will be recorded so you can view it later at your convenience.

Beginner classes: Monday and Wednesday

Intermediate Classes: Tuesday and Thursday

IELTS: Wednesday and Friday

This is a tentative schedule which can be adjusted to suit class needs. The American culture and social dynamics and Business etiquette classes will be start in the ESOL 2 class once the students have a foundation of English.

The two beginner levels focus on basic communication, life skills, and literacy:

  • ESOL 2 – High Beginning

At the intermediate level, two courses are offered to continue the focus on reading, writing, work and life skills:

  • ESOL 3 – Low Intermediate

In addition to the six courses described above, The English Adventure offers content to bring awareness and mastery
